MIKE CUTINO, FOUNDER
Mike Cutino has been a leading publisher and businessman in the New York region for over 40 years. As owner of Global Entity Media, he serves as CEO of Nightlife Magazine, New York Sportscene Magazine, Billboards on Wheels and the Drive Tee. An accounting major at SUNY Farmingdale, Cutino has parlayed his business experience and philanthropic mindset to help many individuals in need over the years. As Founder and Chairman of the New York Sportscene Children’s Foundation, Cutino has helped his community and often says “People won’t remember what you’ve done for them but they will remember how you made them feel.” Along with his many livelihoods, Cutino is also a book author including his most recent children’s book, “The Adventures of the Karate Wizards” which was inspired by his passion for the sport of Karate.

FRAN PETITO, PRESIDENT
Fran Petito has had a vast career in the media industry for over 45 years working as Publisher, Corporate President, Fashion & Beauty Editor, Celebrity Interviewer, Writer & Photographer, Public Speaker, Motivator, Marketing & Advertising Expert, Personal Safety Advocate and Mentor. Petito has always been an avid philanthropist holding many charitable positions and serving on over 22 charity boards. She currently serves as President of the New York Sportscene Children’s Foundation. Her previous positions of Executive Vice President of Yes We Care, Inc. and President of the NOWSA allowed her to provide for Veterans and the safety of Women and children. She has been inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame Book of Lives and Legacies in Seneca Falls, NY. Fran has also been nominated 5 times for the JAFFE Awards. Among the awards she has won include NYS Woman of Distinction; Woman of the Year for the International Federation of Business and Professional Women; the NYSCF's 2018 “The Fran Petito Heart of an Angel Award” and the 2019 Dewitt Clinton Masonic Award for Community Service for her dedication for going above and beyond for the betterment of children and those in need, always working from her Heart!

FRANK LOMBARDO, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Frank Lombardo, Esq is an attorney and local philanthropist. Following his graduation from St. Johns University, he attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. His Law career began in 1987 and he has litigated and tried cases to verdict in the New York and Federal District Courts for over 25 years. He recently won the largest verdict in Suffolk County, winning $8.3 Million for his client involved in a motor vehicle accident. He also has great experience in the field of local philanthropy serving as special consultant to the Board of Directors of the Long Island Blues Society and sits on the Board of Directors for the Blues by the Bay Music Festival . Frank serves as Vice President of the New York Sportscene Children’s Foundation and has been Event Chairman for many fundraising events, including the Rock & Bowl for Kids!, the Angela Lombardo Blues Raiser and the Annual Celebrity Golf Classic charity events that raised needed funds for the Foundation and its mission. Frank and the Lombardo Family are the first recipients of “The Fran Petito Heart of an Angel Award” for their dedication and support of children.

EVA PAPPAS, 2ND VICE PRESIDENT
Eva joined our team in 2016 and has served as Chair of our Red Carpet Prom for Cohen's Cancer for Kids and St. Mary's Children's Hospital. Eva owns EVA Boutique and JOHN PAPPAS Furs and have hosted our Free Holiday Thrift Store for those in need. Eva does an annual Prom Program called the Cinderella Project as well as SCPBA Prom Initiatives.

TERRY VOLPE, TREASURER
Terry has been a volunteer and friend of the Foundation for many years and we are thrilled to add her to our Executive Board in 2021. Terry serves as Treasurer. Terry has an extensive background in accounting and bookkeeping. She is the perfect choice to handle all financial responsibilities.

JOHN GIORDANO, SECRETARY
John joined the Board as Secretary in January of 2025. John has volunteered for many charities and works in our offices with our teens and donations collected. John strategizes fundraising and organization within the foundation.
John comes to us with more than 17 years expertise in the Assisted Living and Independent Senior Living arenas. John started his career in Wall Street and succeeded in the retail business for 10 years. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Baruch College. A native of Brooklyn, NY John is married to Lorraine for over 39 years and enjoys his time as Dad and Papa! ​​
